Ava had a wonderful weekend, we all did. Our dear friends Katherine, Brian and their wee-one Stella came down from Bellingham for a visit. Oh how I wish we lived closer! We already miss you guys.
The girls had a great time palling around and getting to know one another better, while Moms and Dads caught up on parenthood. Ava loved waking up every morning to find her playmate ready to go. She ran around our house grabbing all of her toys yelling "my turn, my turn" while Stella kept her in line with a little whack to the head every once and a while. Sharing is good, though tough to learn.

Ava has always been stingy with the kisses. Stella brought them out, pure cuteness I have to say.

We were lucky enough to sneak in a visit with our friends Nancy and Rebeka (from Forest Ridge) and their husbands. It's amazing that all four of us "girls" have known each other for 20 years and still keep in touch. Ava and Stella had a great time with the boys, Luke and Kirk.
