Grandma Time

Ava had her Grandma up here last week for a special visit. She adored having her here to play, read and expolre with. It was great to see the two of them obviously bonding as Grandma and Granddaughter. Ava would wake up in the morning and say "find Grandma, cuddle her." Ava didn't even miss Mom and Dad who were lucky enough to get some date time.


This is actually a picture of the two of them last month is San Diego, tending to Grandma's carrots.


We spent a rainy morning at Habitot. Ava showed Grandma all of her favorite activities, painting, collaging fabric with glue, climbing tunnels, face painting....



But Ava's favorite exhibit is the baby washing station. She could stay here all day bathing, drying, dunking, splashing... She never tires of baby dolls or water these days.




We're heading north on Thursday for even more grandma time with Nanny Jane. Ava is quite the lucky girl!
