Well Ava has had a fever for 3 days now which put a little damper on Easter. That and today's downpour that just wouldn't stop! But the Easter Bunny doesn't care about rainy days and loves to bring goodies to sick kids too. So we spent the day (the whole weekend in fact) as cozy as possible, hiding and re-hiding eggs, reading new books, watching Max & Ruby and making bunnies with moon sand.
We learned that brown eggs work much better for dying too. Thanks for the tip Chris.
A chocolate bunny for breakfast, I know, I know. But the poor girl hasn't wanted to eat a single thing for days. Might as well let her go for it.
Update... Turns out it was Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease. Thanks preschool germmies!
