Just before Christmas we had a lovely visit from our good friends Katherine and Brian up in Bellingham and there two adorable girls, Stella and Phoebe. If only we could live closer and get these girls together more often!! They played beautifully together and danced about in ballet clothes every chance they got.

While the little girls enjoyed a little mellower time at home and some walks in the rain.
It's hard to believe Katherine and I met as girls of 12 in 7th grade and now we're an unruly crew of 8!

Stella and Ava could be twins! Even Ava's grannie had to look closely to identify my granddaughter!
