Croup, fevers, coughs, pink eye and teething.... be gone!! The girls are getting better but it was a week of grumbling and soothing around here. I stayed home with Ava since her cooties couldn't go to school. It a rare and wonderful treat to spend just a day with the two of us. We went out for hot chocolate with fresh whipped cream, bought her some cute new sneakers that make her run really fast and snuggled up for her first movie in the theater. A brilliant way to play hooky on a gloomy winter day, right Pumpkin. I see some of these days in our future teen years.
