NY Wedding

It has been a busy 6 weeks with lots of traveling and adventure for our family. Haven't had time to keep up with the posts. Hazel and I traveled out to cousin Abe's wedding in NY. Ryan did a lovely job planning a spectacular event at a beautiful historic location along the Hudson River. I only wish we had had a little extra time to explore the area a little more and visit some of my old haunts from Bard College. But it was great to see Abe and Ryan and what a happy life they have created in their sweet little home of Beacon.

Hazel was an amazing little traveling companion which was such a relief. She was quite happy meeting so many new people, exploring new places and getting passed around. She actually sat on the lap of the woman next to us for a good portion of the flight home, phew!

This is actually me keeping her as quiet as a church mouse during the ceremony.

Great Grandma Martha with the bride and groom.

Aunt Sarah and Uncle Denny. So what should the girls call Sarah? "Great-Aunt Sarah" just doesn't work. We need suggestions!!!

Come on Sarah, wave your ribbons!

Abe and Hazel getting acquainted.

The reception was in a beautiful old barn all lit up with twinkle lights.

Grandma Martha getting her groove on with Abe - watch out! Quite impressive Grandma Martha.

Hazel got a turn to dance around with Denny too.

And then there's cousin Abby and cousin Brad who were so great to catch up with. Who knows when we'll get to see them next with their busy college schedules. None the less they were very sweet with Hazel and it was great to see them. Until next time guys!
