So Ava has been quite the talker... Here is her vocabulary to date, as much as we can recall. Over the past few weeks she has become a bookworm, dragging them all around the house and curling up in our laps for a story. Her favorite books has photos of objects. She points to each one, wanting to know the word. When she sees the photo of the phone she puts her ear down to the page and says "hi", how cute is that!

Ball (Probably her favorite and first real word)
Baby
Dog (Anything with 4 legs is a dog.)
Uh-oh (Yes, the cup fell off the table, again....)
Apple
Hat
Bubble
No (It was inevitable she'd learn this...)
Belly-button (Yeah, I know it's a stretch.)
Book
Banana (She always points to the picture of the nana in her book)
Water/Bottle (either one just means, "pass me my cup, I'm thirsty")
Down (For awhile down meant "move me someplace different")
Up
Bird
Duck
Snack (She just started saying this today. Ava's new favorite 'nack is watermelon.)

so sweet...be just you wait someday the chatter will be non-stop and you will be praying for a moment of silence and then awhile after that you will be having great discussions about where babies come from. sunch joy.
