Everest Here I Come

This is Ava getting ready for bed last night. She's wearing her hand-me-down-super-macho-boy PJs. They're army green camo with a giant fuzzy orange tractor. Who comes up with this stuff for little boys? But they are warm and comfy for these evenings that are getting a little chillier.

Ava has been big into climbing these days. She has mastered getting up into all the elevated seats in the house. Her little bum hovers on the edge for what seems like ages or seconds, depending on the height, as she gets that knee up over the edge and pulls herself up. It's when she stands on the chair jumping and rocking the seat our panic towards this new skill sets in. She's even starting to try and climb the bookshelves.

Check out the new pillows Mom whipped up for the living room... Ava drags them around to use them for... you guessed it... climbing.
