We decided to get out of the house today for some fresh air and fresh food. So we headed out to Lake Merritt and Chinatown in Oakland. Ava had a wonderful time chasing these geese. She probably would have followed them around the lake all day if she could have.
Playgrounds are never boring either.
A Vietnamese restaurant with a great view for Ava. She said hi to everyone who passed by and made sure she left her grubby little signature on the window.
Seriously, this is the perfect meal for a late summer afternoon, especially with an iced coffee chaser. Ava dined on tofu spring rolls, a new treat.
A toddler's mama needs to eat quick or not eat at all!
We sampled some treats at the Chinese bakery on our way out. Yummy, sticky goodness.
