Chickpea and Apple: Spokane Weekend

Here are some overdue photos of our wonderful weekend in Spokane celebrating Chris and Sara's wedding. We came back with colds what with all the hugs, kisses and travel but it was worth it.

We got to spend a chilly day at the Riverfront Park with all the little cousins: Ava, Hazel Piper and Cole.

Now I'm glad we'll be getting some professional wedding photos because I was not snapping away as I should have with all the family to see and the kids to check on. Here is the lovely couple. They put on a wonderful wedding with such attention to detail. It was a very personal event for both families which it should be and I know it will be remembered well. We are thrilled to welcome Sara to the family.

Ava did a great job as the flower girl despite being a little shy. She was quite content to spend the rest of the evening hanging out with Piper watching her first ever Disney movies (Finding Nemo, Sleeping Beauty and The Little Mermaid in one evening). I checked on her once and was told "Mommy, the mean fairy died" and "I don't want to play with you". Then we had cake delivered to them..... not your typical evening.
