This Halloween in Spokane we headed over to Uncle Chris and Aunt Sara's house. Ava and Piper ran around in a beautiful park near their house enjoying the chilly Fall weather. We would love to see this beautiful park in the Summer time. Really these two girls are going to be trouble some day. We're so happy that they are getting so close and I think playing together was the highlight of their trip.
Isn't this the most adorable mermaid you've ever seen.
Our flying fairy.
Our chilly bear, who wasn't that impressed with Halloween.
She liked Un-kiss and his warm house better.
Ava and Piper are now officially trick-or-treating experts and they were on task that evening. We let Ava pick out three pieces of candy that she wanted to eat whenever she pleased. The rest was left out for the "Switch Witch" who replaced it with a modest toy. Ava was quite happy with the trade - yeah, I know - we'll see how long we get away with that one. I love talking to other parents to see what their candy strategy is. Let me just say kids like getting something besides candy for Halloween. We've given out pretzels, playdough, erasers, granola bars and kids are always excited for the variety.
We ended the night with more sugar celebrating Nanny Jane's birthday a few days early. Happy Birthday Mom!!
