Over the weekend we took a day trip adventure into the city, via the exciting BART train, to see the Curious George Saves the Day exhibition at the Contemporary Jewish Museum in SF. If you don't know the authors' amazing story check it out. Ava had a great time discovering new characters and stories looking at all the illustrations. We left with a bunch of new books I had never heard about. We have to work on her "no touching" skills but other than that she had a great time exploring the show. I had a few visions of her putting a sneaker through a painting....
Kids got an activity suitcase to keep them busy and engaged, a brilliant idea. Really, I want to know why they don't have more art exhibitions like this geared towards children and culture seeking parents.
Hazel was a happy traveler as usual. I'm just anticipating her transition into a mobile critter squirming out of everything. For now we'll just savor her contentment.
We've been enjoying a spell of wonderful warm winter weather. Everyone savors days like this in the city.
We feel pretty lucky to live in California when we can sit outside with the kids and enjoy a special meal, drink some warm tea... in January.
