Our sweet Hazel is one year old. Who could believe that this year would fly by so fast. We are completely smitten with this little girl who just grows all the more adorable with every day. Hazel is a chatter box who loves to jabber away. She is the most wiggly, busy baby you could possibly imagine. She is an independent kid but very social at the same time. And we are always asked, "Is she usually this mellow? And when the moment is right she is oh so cuddly. Yeah, we scored with this one and there is no way we could imagine life without her in our family.
We had a fairly quiet day today going about our normal routine. Ava and Eddie were more than happy to instruct Hazel in the best technique to eat the cupcakes our neighbor Carole dropped by.
Yeah, she did a pretty efficient job smashing it to bits. I must say, I just love watching kids intricately devour cupcakes.
We ended the night with a thorough bath but before then the big kids helped her open gifts, again giving her pointers that only come with experience. She was so entertained ripping all the paper to shreds.
