Phew, it has been a busy week! Here are some pix of Ava's Halloween party at school last week. Of course they had a pumpkin themed snack, a trip to a neighborhood pumpkin patch the week before and pumpkin art projects.
I must say I was jealous of the homemade costumes (not sure if you can see the amazing hummingbird and robot) but it wasn't in the cards for me this year with a new babe. Ava said she wanted to be a fairy which was easy enough. Next year she already wants to be a fire fighter...
Her teachers are amazing and they put on a fun show for the kids.
Lots of singing, story telling, elaborate costumes and of course signing.
The costume show... Ava and one of her best buddies Samalyia. They crack me up with their little pageant waves.
And of course trick-or-treating to all the classrooms, sans candy thank you very much! This was the highlight of the afternoon for Ava.
